P'Up-Date!
My pup has now ruled the roost for 3 weeks now! He's getting more stubborn and has more clout than he ever did! He sleeps on us while we watch tv and life with him is just like having a new baby! Tonight he crawled up under my arm and put his head up on my shoulder and rested for a moment....then began tickling my neck & ear. I was laughing so hard & he knew he was the cause of it. The whole playful puppy wag began and well.....he's just constant entertainment. And I've officially become one of those old people who dotes on their dogs!
I got him this little hoody because he seems to be so chilly outside. He's not much of an outdoors-man at all....though he discovered a weak spot in the fence so I had to go move rocks this morning and hopefully block his way. (This is the same hole I had another dog crawl thru years ago and got killed right in front of my kids!) Hubby still hasn't fixed it, so even if it looks like Sam Stinkin' Hill....I'm going to protect my pup! Sadly he doesn't think much of the whole clothing idea and tried endlessly to tear it off....sooo......anyway....had to get a picture of him with it on!! It's like he's just saying "Oh Mom!....the big dogs don't have to wear a jacket!" He makes my empty nest just a wee bit easier to bear!
I'm learning a lot as I grow older.....that my mom really did need a restroom every 20 minutes or so....that mother nature is kind in dimming our eye sight....I look ever so much better without my glasses on, thinking I'm looking okay to be seen in public until I put those darn things on and see my eye liner is 1/8 inch below where it should be! But there's a certain comfort to be had knowing that when hubby takes his glasses off, he still sees me as he did 27 years ago....(well...just about!) And puppy....well he just doesn't care about such things at all, preferring to love without reservation or prejudice. A character trait I would do well to try to emulate....perhaps I could sleep with such abandon as well!

They call it Puppy Love......!! And it's a boy, what else?
OK....I confess....I didn't mean for it to happy, we touched noses, and well....one thing lead to another and he spent the night last night!
NO NO NO NO....not that! Before you go thinking the worst....this is love of the canine variety. He's 10 weeks old and he's having a little nap right now so I can get on and post baby pictures!!! I hadn't really forgotten how it is to have a pup....but I had. Outside everytime they sniff, which they're doing constantly. But....he's been a genius so far and only had one accident when Jeff was 'manning' him. Moms are always better at seeing the signs of impending elimination aren't they?! I think it's genetic!
Anyhoo....I just wanted to post some quick photos of him because I'm bragging to everyone I know and I want you to meet Maximus....Maxi for short. Jeff got to name him because he wasn't exactly lining up for a new pup, we just got new carpet a few months ago!!! But....we were at a trade show and he was on full trade which meant $30 out of pocket for a Jack Russell....the rest is bartered out thru our business. Love trade exchanges! I'm not so sure Jeff will want to take me to anymore!!! But for today....I'm reveling in being a new mom!

The Face of Death Meow....oops...I mean Row!
Okay so I've been smelling this smell....for a while and I've searched high and low looking for the source. I finally concluded that I must be smelling things....I do this....I smell things others just don't notice. Well....my nose was on target....well sort of or it would have sniffed out the source before. Today, in a rare moment of cleaning inspiration, I pulled out the couch to vacuum and there......to my horror....I discovered the crap cache! Maybe a month's worth! I relocated the litter box a while back and apparently Miss Lili just doesn't like the new location. And yes.....I will be moving it back to where SHE wants it! And yes! She wins, which grinds me....but this episode was just unacceptable and must not be repeated!
You might be wondering naturally, "Wasn't she thinking, 'where's the poo' when scooping the litter box?'. Well....I'm a bit mortified to admit that my helpful housekeeper dogs pitch in by 'cleaning' the litter box for me, no need to define that statement. They have 'Cat Crap Fever', and enjoy a mid-day snack. I've asked the vet about this, and no, it's not good for them, but most dogs tend to help their owners in such ways, not unusual. So....well, they're not dead yet, but the cat, well....she's about to be!
Now for all you cat lovers out there (of which I am, believe it or not, one of them), I only put her in jail while I cleaned up her stash, and she was not killed, mutilated or otherwise harmed in the taking of this picture.....however, that may not have been true when I first discovered her deposit! And no....she won't actually be put to death, but I can't say the thought didn't pass thru my mind!!!

Missing Great Sox!
In doing laundry tonight, I came up with the usual 1/2 dozen single sox while sorting. I grabbed my basket that holds the single sox of years past, with the hope of course, that I could make a few mates. While my spirit soared when I reunited a pair of Argyles with each other, sadly I was unable to match up any others. I finally got ruthless and tossed out the sox that had been in and out of the system for evidently the past 20 years or so. I had little kid sox! Even when my kids were little, they didn't have little feet. So....it must be from when they were REALLY little....which means we're talking 25 years or so.
I HAVE SOX FROM THE REAGAN ADMINISTRATION! Pretty scary isn't it?
When my dad died and we were sorting thru his worldly goods, I found plastic flowers in the attic along with the lovely matching plastic "vaaaaasze.." and wondered how the heck they kept stuff that long. After all, my mom had passed away 20 years before my dad. And yet he still had orange plastic flowers in his attic! So I guess I come by these "hang onto it for some day" genes naturally. But really... I can do better than this. If I don't want my kids to just light a match to the place when I die, I have to do better than this.
I do wonder from time to time where all these great sox go. Is there like a Bermuda Triangle surrounding me that sox just go missing, sucked into some crazy vortex and churning with all the missing sox of my past lives. How can one or two people possibly have 21 single sox! Wouldn't there be a corresponding pile of them somewhere? I mean they take up quite a bit of space!
One of the biggest unsolved mysteries of our time.

OH FOR PETE'S SAKE!
So....I'm mindlessly (not unusual) signing into my blog, and I somehow got on my Twitter page instead. I guess I wasn't aware that Twitter is so very helpful that they figure that if you write about something, then they'll help you out and send you little tweets to other such somethings. Well....since I wrote about Mary Poppins in bondage, of course they sent me links to BDSM sites. Oh boy! The thought just occurred to me that I've probably signed up for more by actually mentioning it. I'll check them out as soon as I find the key to my handcuffs....KIDDING TWITTER! JUST KIDDING!
Gotta Love Peachycheap!
I just received my $10 grab bag....such a great deal!!! I can't believe all the fun stuff in this! Check it out!!! There's all those little 16 sheets of that Laundry Line tag things....I've bought these individually at scrap stores! They're just so useful!!! And an 8x8 Butcher Block pad, a silver stamp pad, a clear stamp alphabet, 3 pkgs of rub-ons, and a whole pack of American Craft stickers....
Wow! Thank you Peachycheap....and Steph who sent me to this great deal!!!

What a fun day!
Wow....this day has been just so fun! Last week was just not so good....I got so sick & weak and spent a large part of my days watching Little House on the Prairie episodes! While this is such a lovely show, it is not how I dream of spending my time!!! So....I whine and moan to Joyce Wright from the Girls Gone Scrappy club.....just have to complain a bit about the state of me to one who has surely been thru the wringer and then some this year! Much more than what I've endured.....that's for sure. So....I hear a knock on the door today and Jeff answered it....came back in toting a beautiful vase of the most beautiful bouquet of flowers!!! I of course, immediately attributed this to him of course....and he denies it!!! With of course, the obligatory "Who do you know that's sending you flowers?" I couldn't find my glasses quickly enough to read who had done this lovely deed....Joyce!!! So shocked!!! And so touched and grateful for this friend! Joyce was the recipient of my GGS trade for the month of July and was ever so gracious and effusive about it. Such a great first timer to have. I'd never done this mini trade thing and was soooo intimidated by the whole thing....but she quickly put me to ease when I watched the lovely video she did guest starring my mini!!!
Anyway....THANK YOU JOYCE!!! These flowers so brightened my day! Wow! Look carefully at the picture....there's a lemon in the vase....such a beautiful addition to the bouquet. Cleansing....as Joyce said. And such a fresh touch. I just love it!!!
So then....my day improves.....Stephanie Miller....also of Girls Gone Scrappy....was doing the drawing for her blog candy today. I had checked her blog several times to see if she'd done it yet....I was curious about who would win that lovely blog candy....assuming it wouldn't be me. I just don't win things....and yet....who's name does she pull out of that box of names???? Mine!!! I started squealing....got my dogs all in a lather....(another spider in the house?!!!!) and had to stop the video to get hubby to watch with me!!! I'm so excited to have won!!! Had to call my daughter....really so excited about this!!! THANK YOU STEPHANIE!!! I might add that Stephanie is the only reason I can blog period. I set it up and promptly lost it!!!! She was updating her blog following list and wanted the GGS members....so I give it to her and tell her good luck finding it....so she goes hunting and comes back in 30 seconds announcing she's found me and gives me the link!!!! To my own blog!!! Just too funny! I'm sooooo not a computer person! Anyway....I'm so glad I joined the GGS group! I so needed something good to happen and I had two biggies!!! What are the odds for the self-proclaimed Murphy's Law Poster Child?!!!

Mary Poppins in Bondage
A few months back, I was rooting around the Mega Mall, an antique/junk/whatever store with many booths that's up the street from me here. I found some really cute little postcards with these cute little asian characters in them. They were $2 for a little book for 24 of them so of course, I signed up for 3. I kept one and gave the other ones to my daughters, MY DAUGHTER'S!!!, for Christmas a stocking stuffer. (stocking stuffers get harder now that the girls are grown!) So, the other day I needed a little note for someone so I pulled out said little book of cards. Evidently I need to look at each & every post card before I make purchases in future. I was surprised, quite unpleasantly to discover that some of them are a bit um, erotic sorts....I GAVE THESE TO MY DAUGHTERS!!!! I'm so mortified. They look so innocent like they could even be sent to a kid type innocent. When I flipped thru them briefly, all I saw was cute little smiling characters with pretty little soft colors around them. I HAVE TO GET A BIT MORE DETAIL ORIENTED!!!! Most of them are not very innocent at all....I mean not that they're pictures that actually jump out at you if you do a quick flip. It's when you actually look at what the hands are doing, etc....I GAVE THESE TO MY DAUGHTERS!!!! Oh I am never going to live this down. I only hope they haven't sent these to people randomly. I can hear it now..."Oh Lexy, oh Mandy....where did you get those soft porn postcards????? MY MOM! MY MOM!!!! I gave my daughters soft porn cartoon "art"!
Such lack of detail took me back in time to when the girls were young....like 8 and 11. We went to Royal Oak, MI where they had some fun little shops, restaurants & such. My husband saw a place called Noire, a leather store. Being an avid leather fan, since he's a motorcycle papa, he wanted to go in. So...we go in, Jeff & Lex head down one aisle, Mandy and I the other. We're sauntering along looking at jewelry in the case....heads down, etc. I looked up and saw a few employees and they were all dressed in black....very goth types. Ok....it's ok...Lexy's first boyfriend had glow in the dark green hair so black....well at least it's a more 'normal color, though multiple piercings thru cheeks, lips, eyebrows & tongues made me cringe. Ok....still, I try not to be judgemental about people who probably spout water like a sprinkler when they have a drink, just a calm shop browser at this moment...then I look at a rack, there's all kinds of what looked to be instruments of bondage & torture. I glance at a picture on a wall and it's a blown up photo of an unfortunate person who took his own life with a caption of "his last drink of the day was a Smith & Wesson". At this point, I grab my daughter & hustle for my husband who by this time had also seen something that made him realize where we were at and we're both like "WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE!" And hustle out the door.
Sometimes it knocks me over the head that there's a whole world out there that I'm oblivious to and honestly, I would still like to be oblivious to some of what I learned that day. For one, that they don't tell you in such a place that IT IS such a place when you walk in there like Mary Poppins on a lovely day out to the park with the family unit. Particularly when 2 of that family unit are small children. Two....that it's legal to enlarge such horror photos and sell them in a shop and three, that someone would find such a thing in anyway funny.
I would have gone 50 times thru "It's a Small World After All" to have not exposed my kids to that. I never did ask what it was Jeff and Lexy saw on the other side of the store that made them come hustling to the exit as well. I had enough of an education for the day. I'm not so sure being naive is such a bad thing after all.
Amazing the memories that a postcard will bring.

Japanese Stamp Set
$4!!! I don't think it shows up really well in the photo, but a couple of the stamps are just really simple and not necessarily Japanese. This was Michael's for petes sakes! This store rarely marks things severely down unless they're under contractual obigation!
Anyway....just kind of something fun and different!
PINK LADY BLOG CANDY!!!
If this captures anyone's eye....good! Check out Steff's blog candy! SUPER SUPER CUTE! It's a double-super-cute! Her albums are brilliant. I think she's a secret scrappy spy from oh I don't know....secretscrappyspyworld....shoot....I need a 2nd cup of coffee.
Anyhoo....I'm going for the extra credit here and advertising her candy! And besides....it really is worth checking out!
http://withagrin.blogspot.com/ is the site!!!
Okay....how come I can't click on that and get to her site? Hope someone can help me with that one!

Junkin'
One of my favorite places to shop is Goodwill conveniently located about a mile away. A few months ago I happened upon this beautiful old coffee grinder which was made somewhere around the turn of the last century! It was $5 & I absolutely love it! I'm a coffee snob....about the only thing I'm snobbish about (Has to be freshly brewed beans, freshly ground, reverse osmosis purified water & only French Press made...) So....I just love to speculate about the lovely beans that must have passed thru this beauty!!!
Trade Mini I Received From Patty Mickle GGS!!!
I Love love love this mini album I received from Patty Mickle, via Girls Gone Scrappy Club that's hosted by Marion Smith at pieceofcraft.com!
It has such a neat feel to it & little hidden pockets with tags, really neat metal flower embellishments....and it's bright & summery! Love these colors!
Thank you Patty!!!!

I Must move faster!
So much stuff....so little time! I stayed up until 3:30 am dismantling this stuff & there's so much...but much of it I placed in Mandy's room & I want it up to health code for her when she returns tonight!!!
This is inside the smaller dresser thingy.....how do you store your clear stamps? I have some in clear covers in a notebook & now some kind of in their cases setting up in a wire basket thingy.....neither is terribly efficient!
Oh....I had to post a px of that embroidered ribbon doily thing. Circa 1920, 50 cents @ a garage sale!
Shabby
The theme would be definitely shabby....I don't think there's any chic involved!!!! I'm going to take a px of the inside of this....see what you think.
What Should I hang?????
Read this while you're in bed....on your left side!!!
Picture is sideways and one went missing & the other one....well God only knows.
Okay....so my day begins with my scraproom being scrapped again! Hubby brought home a new piece that we thought may help me organize a bit more.....so....I'm going to post pictures from time to time here while I try to sort this out & hope for advice from anyone who might have mercy....Lisa....Steph.....Joyce.....and anybody else!!! I am a TERRIBLE organizer and when I scrap, it's EVERYWHERE you wanna be. It's bad. And I'm half dutch!!!! Excommunicated dutch. I don't know if any of you are dutch, but before life, limb & lord comes the Big O....Organization.
Anyhooooooooooo, now that I have my proper camera cord....I can beg for help with actual photos!

Hot Mama!
Okay....before anyone goes and thinks I think "I'm All That".....let me qualify. I'm having hot flashes amok! Day, night, night, day....geez.....I'm so worried every morning hubby is going to groan, "what's that smell?!" So far, he's been kind, though he did ask me why he's waking up with all the blankets on him every morning!!! I don't even realize I'm doing that to the poor guy, after all, he's no froze over. He has hot flashes of his own, though I somehow don't think they're related to mine. Less blankets? You'd think....except I go to bed with sox & sweatshirt...sexy, eh? Several years ago, he presented me with some pretty cotton Victoria's Secret nighties. Very modest actually...surprising enough. However I could only have them if I got rid of all my flannel nightgowns! I guess that should tell you something! Moderate cotton nighties were far preferable to him than flannel nightGOWNS! I actually don't remember why I wore those in the first place, I used to wake up in the morning twisted up in that thing like Morticia of The Addams Family. Well, at least they weren't black.....wait, I guess to a guy at least black would feel appropriately "baaaad". Good girl pinks just weren't in the running for some odd reason!!!
I guess just another one of those fun "as we age" things. Just wish I could figure out some comfortable nightwear....maybe I should try that mountain climbing long underwear that 'wicks moisture away from the body'. Maybe something 'laced' with anti-microbial beads to keep the smell down. Now that would be hot! Well...come on, it could be black!

Oooohh Ooooh ooohhh I figured out how to follow!
Oh I love this feature! Now I figured out how people keep up! Now to add everyone else I want to follow! Too fun!!! Sorry....old person learning the beauties of the internet!!
Relief!
Thanks for the nice comments on the mini guys! I was so nervous posting my mini in front of such talent as the GGS gals! (Not that any of you would tell me if my work stank!!....but.....I'm going to take your comments at face value!!!!
Oh....most of the lace on this mini is 100 years old'ish. And though I don't think you can see it, there's bits of an old William Tell book from 1905 I believe....in German. Sorry for you book collectors....but I have to say, I'm with Marion on this one....."it's just stuff". (I love that philosophy btw!)
Backwards!
My trade mini is exactly backwards! Anyhoo....you can get the idea of what I've done!!! A bit of progress for an old girl!
Mini Trade for July!

FINISHED!
Well....my first trade mini is getting turned over to the USPS tomorrow. Typical me stringing this thing out until the 31rst of the month. What is with my indecisiveness?!!! I would look at that mini one day & think, "yeah....it's coming". Then the next I look, and think what special needs person did this? Anyway....being the person with 10 projects continually in progress, it felt soooooooo good to have a project finished!!!! I'm going to have to try this 'completion' thing more often! I like it! Hope super-mega-talented Joyce does!!! I've had fun putting this together I must say, though doing a mini for someone else sets the bar higher...You want everything to be perfect, however, being the non-professional that I am, it's just not. Ah well. I gave it my best & it was fun!
Now for next month's trade mini.....hmmmmm......

Pictures!!! Or Lack Thereof
I do plan on posting pictures....problem is right now my daughter has my camera and my husband lost our other camera when we took a wrong turn on the 3 mile trail and got on the 9 mile trail. Did I mention I am directionally challenged? Actually, this was not my wrong way moment, it was my daughter's. My poor daughter Mandy has the unfortunate inheritance from me of a total lack of direction...North South East West.....all the same to us unless we're looking for a beach sunset, and then the hints are very clear....orange/pink sky. So....when my daughter gets back from her vacation, I will be able to at least post some pictures, I'm not so sure about videos yet, but I do want to share pictures. I do a lot of scrap lifting I totally admit....so just so anybody who is interested goes in some fore-warning....BUT....for me personally, I love seeing everyone's different twist on basically the same idea. So....it's only fair to show my own twisted mind....wait....that didn't come out quite right! You guys know what I mean though!!!
SUNDAY SHORTS?
Jeff's cargo shorts are in horrible repair.....pockets ripping out, faded fabric, just generally ready to toss them in the bin. So, I head with joy in my heart to T.J. Maxx and with even further glee, find some perfectly lovely cargo shorts....2 pair no less in his size for $12.99! Super cheap! Good to work in (we own our own furniture/bedding/appliance/repair vacuum store and this is what he wears (he claims until December but it's really just until it drops to the 40's), but anyway....he needs shorts that don't look like he's homeless. So....they're washed, ready to go....and what to my surprise does he put on Tuesday morning to head into work? THE OLD RATTY ONES! I asked why the heck wasn't he wearing his new shorts..."oh those are for good"....Like what....like you're going to wear those to church with your dressy tennis shoes along with your dressy tube sox for your Sunday best. Something like that.
This man was raised in an impeccable traditional 50's style home. His mother is very Victoriana. When watching movies with her she feels obligated to gasp everytime there's a swear word (which frankly in some movies that Jeff likes leaves her practically hyperventilating. When I was pregnant, I was really sick....hospital i.v.'s a couple times a week sick. God bless the woman she took our laundry, washed it & ironed EVERYTHING down to my flannel nightgowns. Unbelievable, as my method of ironing these days consists of shaking out vigorously, repeating as needed. Of course, when we went over there for Father's Day Jeff decides to make me look really good by wearing mesh gym shorts and an old ratty t-shirt that's been buried & stuffed into a wad at the bottom of his t-shirt drawer, circa 1996 at least. Needless to say, my daughter and I both bullied him into putting on his new lovely casual/dress t & at least some shorts that were not meant to be at the gym.
I've now figured out where this "saving it for good" comes from. It's from his mother!!! She has dishes in her cupboard....lovely, beautiful dishes that are neatly packed away in proper containers and never see the light of day. WHY?????????????????? His sister has a house full of Yankee Candles (which I love but can't afford). She never burns them....why? My brother-in-law sort of answered this question one day when we were there for dinner eating off the old plates, when he told of how when they were in elementary school, all the other boys were blowing up their lunch sacks, blowing them up and popping them (like any self-respecting boy in elementary school does of course, along with of course the obligatory Chicquita banana sticker in the middle of one's forehead.) Not these boys. They had to fold up their little lunch sack, put it into their perfectly ironed long-sleeved, button up perma-press Sears shirts and bring them home to save them for the next day...and presumably the next. So....a 100 count bag of lunch sacks could conceivably last the whole of their school years, graduating and heading onto college with a proper Scooby Doo lunch pail like the rest of the boys had! They had indeed arrived. Job well done.

The Aging Process
So the eye-doctor said my eyes are getting old....get over it basically. He was more polite about it of course, but it dawned on me as I rode home that soon I'll be dead. Hmmmm.....mortality thoughts are never good ones. I've had so many problems with the various glasses I've gotten over the last few months and we keep going back to adjust so I quit getting these piercing headaches I get. The solution now is to have 2 different pairs. Geez....something else to keep track of, but if it means I can stop taking 20 ibuprofen a day....I'm in. Or it may not be eye-related at all and it might be blood sugar....good grief. I eat cookies all the time how in the heck could I have low blood sugar. Hmmmm. 6 small meals a day....which I basically do, but evidently cookies don't count as a meal. Hi pro. I think there's a dog food by that name.
8 Legged Bully
The 8 Legged Terrorist/Bull is still on the lam in my room. How one small creep can cause such an upset is beyond me. But I've always wondered why bullies get away with bullying. It's all about the psychological edge they hold over the Bullied! He has 8 of them...not to mention hair! And though I'm not sure because I was in such a fit over him....I'm sure he was wearing steel-toed boots. After all, he ransacked the room....the shelf collapsed the night he was rooting around in there. (Yes....I do realize I'm delusional....) Maybe hyponotism would work or illegal drugs! (Just kidding DEA.) Hmmm....I should scrap a page about this Thing. Steph kept one for a pet. Talk about true mother love!!!! I'm so impressed!!
However, a discovery was made. I could be murdered in the next room and my husband may not discover me until morning. Screaming bloody murder....he never heard me. Dogs didn't react.....nice little Terrorist Supporters. It's my secret fear that they gave the Terrorist the ticket into my room...big fluffy tail....perfect place to hide.
They're going to have to take me away...ha ha hee hee....

Gutted Scraproom!!
What a crazy day! The 8-Legged Terrorist triggered me to gut my scraproom today. Typical me, I didn't think about the fact that just because certain pieces of furniture technically fit in the allotted small floor space, it doesn't mean that the drawers & doors will open. This is a problem if you keep things in said drawers and behind said doors. I loaded up the tops of these certain problem items, not once, but twice! Had to unload them, and pull them out and keep trying to make these puzzle pieces fit! I technically got trapped in there by stuff too, so stacked was it all!
Good grief! I was even embarrassed.....the dogs were watching me wondering what compulsive obsessive disorder I'd gotten myself into. I think I'm spending too much time alone since I'm not working!
Tomorrow I will be leaving town for a bit with Jeff....I truly am like old people some days. The big outing of the day will be to the eye doctor! Wow....I'm becoming one of THEM. I have to watch what I eat for fear I'll upset my stomach, and now my outing for the day is to the doctor.
Oh....and we're going out to dinner.....THE EARLY BIRD SPECIAL! I don't know!!! Well....back to my Stryker frame and my scrap-mess!

I'M IN!
Thanks to Stephanie & Lisa's coaching. Good grief I struggle with technology, but I do love all the perks of it!
I'm full of bratwurst (would have preferred burgers....but) and home made ice cream! Yum!
Jeff and I went and saw yet another fireworks show tonight. If there's fireworks within a few miles of here, we have to go see it. Guys do love things that explode! I can never sit in a car watching fireworks w/o thinking of my daughter Lexy's first reaction to it when she was just over a year old. She was sitting between us and that first boom went off....HIT THE DECK!!! she belly flopped to the floor with her hands over her ears. Geez....that's 25 years ago!!! She's 26 next month. Just doesn't seem like that long ago. I'll be dead before long....so I'm going to go work on my mini book and not think about it!

COVERED CHIPBOARD & SHAVING LEGS!
I know this seems like a silly thing, but I tend to get hyper-focused on things until I get them right. I finally shaved my legs today....(yes I've been showering daily, but hadn't shaved for a bit) my poor husband. He's going to think I'm competing with him. I seriously have sat here until 3 in the afternoon unshowered!!! I think how nasty, so hop in for a quickie and no shave! So today, I finally decided my poor husband might not want to see our 27 wedding anniversary in August if I didn't do something about my European legs!!!
Anyway....I will post pictures when I get my camera back....or I find the one hubby lost!
Antique Me
Okay....I'm lazy. I know there's ways to figure out how to do these blogs better, but man, seems like it all takes such time. I just want the quick & easy way, just like I want the quick ez way to cover & cut out chipboard flowers as well as Stephanie!!! Steph I tried.....it looks like the poor posy has been biting it' nails! Argh. I'm going to learn to do this right. As I will with the blog!

BLOGGING!
Oh clearly this is going to take some getting used to....putting down thoughts. Hmmm....do I have any today? I've been looking at the various blogs of the gals from Girls Gone Scrappy....and I feel like I'm in pre-school and unable to read. They're so beautiful. I must learn how to decorate this. If only I could use regular scrap paper and glue!!!!

New at this
I'm new at this blog thing, but I think I need to learn how to do this stuff....so I can join a scrapclub I'm captivated by....so here I am....trying to learn this new-fangled way of communicating! Took me a long time to get to this point, so I hope I can learn how to post pictures and such!
